The waters are shining and pleasantly cool
Reflections of starlight like so many jewels

Continues she does with her quick merry gait
Her steps yet unslowed by the fancy
By end of her journey she's still just the same
Or has tripped on her way and sadly gone lame

Rain Ash sat on a swing. Rain was falling in the quiet town of Pallet, but the young trainer didn't even notice. He had He had only one thing on his mind.

Yes, Ash could only think of her. The outgoing, tomboyish temperamental, water gym leader. He had always liked Misty. Sometimes more than he had known.
She had saved his life once too. On their first meeting. Ash would never forget that day. Misty was the one who had fished Ash out of the water. He would of kissed her right then and there, clearing so many things up, in gratitude, but he was too worried about Pikachu. Still he was grateful. Ash always was. la de da de da... 'tis Christmas and I can't think of anything witty or philosophically challenging to write. darn. I feel like I should be feeling... I dunno... something else. But maybe Christmas is just building on what we feel everyday anyway. We hope for better futures for ourselves and others... we feel the joy of living... and I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention the love we feel for the people around us and who are special to us. it's just my thing.

so until the next time I can think of something- ttfn

Oh boy. I have to admit, I don't fancy myself a stellar writer, but I love it and most of my work comes from the heart (even if it's not entirely clear at times). Anyway, things get better with time, which is why I'm here. Among other things, I'm also a musician (choir, band, that sorta thing) and wholeheartedly beleive that an appreciation for art is what makes us human. That being said, I come from a place where art is all but dead, so at least now I have somewhere to share my ideas. And, fyi, I'm not generally this stuffy or boring. It just sometimes comes out that way!

oh, and #InkInTheBlood is a great way to get noticed if you are an aspiring poet/writer. and I'm not just saying that because I'm on the team. XD.

Current Residence: Honesdale, PA, USA.
Favourite genre of music: Variations of Rock.

yeah, I'm really sorry I haven't been active lately. My summer's been all over the place, and that on top of senior year (with three AP courses) along with band and stuff... it's just been hard to find time to write. I promise, as soon as I have more than ten minutes of free time, I'll write something new and try to get back into the groove of the group... I'm really sorry.

I'm doing ok. Standard trials and tribulations of life, but nothing I can't live with. (oh, I've been apologizing to all the judges for not getting my...well... judgings in before the end of the month. I was without a computer for about a week so... sorry!) Anyway, how're you? XD.

I understand completely! I haven't gotten all mine in either- it's been a rough month financially so I've been working like crazy on top of trying to record with my band and breathe too haha. i just haven't had time to catch up yet, so I guess I owe apologies as well! But you said it perfectly standard trials and tribulations to trudge through, chin up. I guess all that aside, I'm pretty spiffy

sorry. I've been trying for variety, but I always keep getting these new ideas pertaining to... well, love. XD. As soon as I'm done the short story I'm doing now, I promise I'll branch out a bit!

thanks. i do like reading love stories (only thing i can write in story form other than soap operas)(i read eclipse a second time in less than six hours. about four really) but this, this is kinda stereo typical. try coming up with different ideas or a different time period. i`ve got things all over the space time continuum. try it.
